 At Kindergarten Childsplay, our staff are individually chosen and assessed on their experience, qualifications, enthusiasm, dedication and especially for their love of children and are dedicated in providing the finest quality of care.

We aim to provide a very warm and welcoming environment, where all children and their families can feel confident and happy with the childcare they receive.

The children are separated into four groups being Baby, Toddler and two Pre-school rooms.  By doing this at an early stage of a child’s life, we believe that it enables the child to develop at his or her own pace whilst being with other children of the same age. 

Our aim is to help each child to reach the highest degree of independence and confidence, as well as to discover their own strengths academically and creatively, and to pave the way for them to go on and be happy and inquisitive in their next step of education.

Childsplay kindergarten works alongside Jolly Phonics programme.  Jolly Phonics is a thorough foundation for reading and writing.  It uses the synthetic phonics method of teaching the letter sounds in a way that is fun and multi-sensory.  Children learn how to use the letter sounds to read and write words.



Starting Age: 0-6 years old. Formula milk, food creams, nappies, wipes and creams for your child, are provided by the kindergarten (excluding prescribed products).

No of kids per class: 6 in the baby room and remaining rooms vary depending on age groups

Classes languages: English speaking and Greek lessons provided twice a week for the older children. All our teachers are native English speakers and we also have teachers who speak fluent Greek.

Meals offered: We provide breakfast, snack (fresh fruits) and lunch and for those who stay full day also have a second snack and evening meal. Fresh food is from a well-known caterer in Larnaca and consists of a wide variety of meals including meat, vegetables, pasta, lentils and much more.

Schedule: Daily activities include art, craft, music, drama, creative play, nature studies, singing and projects on relevant topics with all relevant weekly, monthly planners available for parents to see.

Our activities and equipment are planned and set out for a wide range of abilities and stages of development. We adapt planned activities so that we enable overall development for every child participating.

There are also extra curricular activities (with an extra fee), such as gymnastics that are organized on a weekly basis.

Educational Programs 2018 -2019 by Cyprus Theater Museum Limassol

Cyprus Theater Museum in Limassol invites all nurseries, kindergartens and school to participate at the educational programs specially organised this school academic year!  Specially designed by specialists of the museum, for each age category from nursery to high school, these programs offer a chance to all children and teenagers to understand and dive into the world of theater!



The overall objective of the educational programs of the Cyprus Theatre Museum is to familiarize students with the museum and to encourage the creative contact with elements from the history of theatre in Cyprus and the art of theatre in general.
The education programs of the Cyprus Theatre Museum are based on the observation and association of information, the exploration of the premises, the discovery as well as the development of the imagination. They are based on an experimental and active learning mode with an emphasis on the hands on acquisition of knowledge and the use of theatre-pedagogical methods. The students collaborate in small groups, as a whole or work individual as well. Particularly, the programs aim at facilitating the approach and understanding of the material exhibited and the museum space as a whole, the cultivation of critical thinking and a dialectic relation of the students towards the exhibits, the development of multifaceted emotional, physical and social conventions and communication code (imagination, creativity, activation etc.) the development of a positive attitude towards museum visits and finally the connection of the museum experience with the taught material and the school programs in general.

Each educational programs of the museum has been approved by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Cyprus and had had a pilot phase.

Part of the design was based on the general and specific aims of the teaching schedule. It can be used as a supplementary tool for enhancing students’ learning through a more creative approach. Does not include working sheet. —

 Number of participants
The programs can be best enjoyed if each is executed for a number of 25 students at any time. The museum can host up to 2 groups of 25 students (50 in total) simultaneously.

Fee
All education programs cost two (2) euro per student and the museum offers a 10% discount on the total for any disadvantaged students.  We recommend that fees are collected prior to the arrival at the museum.

The perfect mountain chalet and best climbing experience Adventure Mountain Park

Hello everybody,

Going to the mountains in Cyprus is the best choice if your are searching to refresh and to enjoy the fresh air with your children. My last discovery is the Adventure Mountain Park in Troodos Mountains - Kyperounda, a place for parents, toddlers and kids to spend one of the most beautiful days outside in the nature. You can find here a playground and a restaurant with an breathless mountain view.










When I arrived there I was welcomed by Mr. George Rossides the director of the Park. I was very surprised to find in Cyprus a person that can speak with so much passion about rock climbing and mountains. His place is the proof of his love. The interior design of the restaurant it makes you feel cozy, tranquil and happy. It is just remarkable!
Everything is prepared to make your day peaceful and relaxing or full of sports and fun activities. I believe that these kind of spaces are fantastic because no matter what your kids ages are, you will all end up spending a nice day.



For babies... will always be an advantage to spend some time out in the fresh air while the parents are enjoying the fantastic view of the restaurant.
For toddlers there is the nice playground covered with grass (dust free environment!) plus plenty of place to run, have fun and feel happy.
For bigger children there is an ice-skating arena, paintball, rock climbing, laser tag and archery.






It is no doubt that the rock climbing is a distinctive sport which awakens your instincts and induces your adrenaline especially when you start practicing using the best natural facilities like the one offered by Adventure Mountain Park.The rock climbing area is just one of the best places where you could relax on a bench or get involved in the New Adventure Climbing. The best age to start Rock Climbing is 8 years old.The most obvious benefits of rock climbing for kids are physical. Rock climbing is an intense physical activity requiring coordination, strength, and flexibility.
Mental benefits of rock climbing for kids are equally as important. Rock climbing requires strategies and focus in order to make it to the top. Children who have difficulty concentrating can often develop mental focus through rock climbing. A feeling of accomplishment might also be seen as a mental benefit, and this feeling often encourages increased physical activity in order to meet the next challenge.








Paintball is a game based on competition and makes the strongest and most determined ones to stand out and beat their opponents. The Adventure Park location for paintball is one of the most challenging and beautiful experiences that kids and adults may have and can be enjoyed any hour of the day because it's mountain location. It is of course dust free as grass is everywhere.








Archery is a sport based on concentration and strength. Archery can get your kids to focus. In order to be successful in archery, kids have to learn to concentrate deeply. They have to be extremely aware of the muscles in their back and shoulders, and balance their awareness of the target. Every time they shoot, a child is required to practice complete emptiness of mind. They have to be totally focused on the task at hand. Once they learn to focus in archery, they will have no problem focusing in other areas of their life.



Laser Tag game involves the opponents using a device emitting infrared light instead of paint.This makes it suitable for anyone who wants to try a lighter version of paintball since it is painless but still feel the same action and excitement. It is the ideal game for anyone of any gender or age who is interested in engaging into the activity to advance their organisational strategic skills.

Learning about bees, in the perfect trip for schools & kindergartens

Ecophysis is located in Vavla village – close by Choirokoitia Neolithic Settlement or Lefkara village the place where Ecophysis organize experiential/educational activities in the sectors of beekeeping, natural environment and tasting of fresh local products. Moreover, Ecophysis produce "VAVLA" honey and other hive products.





Their aim is to offer the perfect environment for a lesson in the nature about bees and natural products – a lesson that can fit perfectly into the curriculum of Elementary Schools.
More specific, Ecophysis' experiential activities promote positive attitude towards protecting the environment, the procedures of preparing food that are given to us by nature and the development of the spirit of curiosity, controversy and research away from superstitions and dogmatisms.
Children will walk away with a better understanding of the importance of honey bees and why their survival is so important, and see firsthand why bees aren’t near as scary as many of us think! Watch honey bees at work creating honey, witness as new bees are ‘born’, and learn more about what you can do to help the health and survival of this vital species.
Ecophysys can accept student groups for educational excursions at Ecophysis in Vavla, after communication about the activity package that you prefer. Their indicative packages are:
1. Beekeeper's and explorers of nature

4. Hands on activities with hive products
5. Bees and honey brunch
6. Short trip out with picnic


The cost of participation depends on the preferred package of activities and the number of students attending. The bigger the number of attending students, the lower the cost. The maximum number of students we can have on each excursion is 110 children and the minimum cost is 2 euro/child.
The tours are 100% secure both for kids and adults. The beekeeper's suits of all sizes can provide perfect security against bee stings, but the chances of that happening are minimal if everybody follows the guidelines given by the highly trained personnel. In case of an accident of any kind, there is a First Aid trained person always on site and a First Aid Kit as well.

Activities packages for schools

1. Beekeepers and explorers of nature (duration 3,5 hours)
-Visit to one of our apiaries and observation of the hives wearing a protective beekeeper's suit (1,5 hour)
-Hiking and exploration in a 1km nature trail to get to know the flora and fauna of the area and collection of edible plants/fruits (2 hours)
- Experiential games for gaining skills throughout the excursion.
-Hot and cold beverages buffet (water, homemade lemonade, homemade mandarin and cinnamon squash and herbal tea with honey)

2. Bees and their products (duration 3,5 hours)

Georgia Shoshilou

Mrs. Georgia Shoshilou is a Biologist with specialization in Wildlife, Biodiversity and Ecosystem Health from the University of Edinburgh (Scotland). She has a first Aid certification.
She is the director of Ecophysis educational activities and Eco Tour guide.

Costas Stylianou

Mr. Kostas Stylianou is a beekeeper and owns Ecophysis honey extraction and bottling laboratory since 1999. He is the director of Ecophysis beekeeping activities and Bee Tour guide.

Panayiota Hadjidaniel

Mrs. Panayiota Hadjidaniel studied Biology at the University of Patras and specialized in Cosmetology and Cosmetic Manufacturing from Natural Raw Material and Pharmaceutical Plants at the National and Kapodistrian  University of Athens. She is the director of Ecophysis cosmetics and customer service officer.
