Fos&Chromata Nursery School provides your child with the opportunity to reach their full potential. Our programs foster children's academic development in pre-reading, maths, science, art and fine and gross motor skills in an interactive educational environment where children can play, explore and discover the natural world of plants, nature and animals.

At Fos&Chromata children will have fun exercising gymnastic twice a week with our gym teacher and once a week will get the visit of our music teacher for our music lessons which will help children learn and socialize through music.
Our Kindergarten programs are developmentally oriented, language, cognitive, sensory motor, and social-emotional skills are strengthened through play and systematic, planned opportunities. Fos&Chromata is a school that makes children feel like home.
The love and care surrounding our little students helps them to adapt easy.

Στο σχολείο μας τα παιδιά θα διασκεδάσουν με το μαθημα της γυμναστικής δύο φορές την εβδομάδα με το δάσκαλο γυναστικής μας και μία φορά την εβδομάδα με το μαθημα της μουσικής, η οποία θα βοηθήσει τα παιδιά να μάθουν και να κοινωνικοποιηθούν μέσα από τη μουσική. Στο νηπιαγωγείο τα προγράμματά μας είναι αναπτυξιακά στη γλώσσα και στις γνώσεις, ενώ οι κοινωνικο-συναισθηματικές δεξιότητες ενισχύονται μέσα από το παιχνίδι. Το Φώς και Χρώματα είναι ένα σχολείο που κάνει τα παιδιά να αισθάνονται σαν στο σπίτι τους. Η αγάπη και η φροντίδα που περιβάλλει τους μικρούς μας μαθητές τους βοηθά να προσαρμοστούν εύκολα. Figure Skating - Limassol

Hello everybody,

Ice Skating for children may look like running on ice, but ice skating uses leg muscles in different ways than running does. Skating also requires less effort to get the “wind in your hair” feeling, although rounding the rink over the course of an hour-long public ice session can still be a great cardiac workout. Are you interested to let your kids learning to dance on ice? In Cyprus for the moment we can only do it in Limassol! Let's get motivated!

How old you should be to start this?


I discover kids skating very well at two years old. Why and how?
First of all because the parents took them to an Ice-skating ring! Not only once, as many of us we try with our kids, but at least three times. Somebody, used to tell me that I should always try new things for at least three times before deciding if I like it or not!
So, do the same with the kids. Perseverance!


Teaching your kids to enjoy sports is a gift that we give them for life. Healthy life style, beautiful ways of spending their time will keep them away from any dangerous activities.
Figure skating is a sport that all of us enjoy looking at the TV.
Elegance, speed, beautiful costumes and like any sport lots of hard work.


This is how kids learn to be ambitious, to concentrate, to put passion in their activity and life in the future!


Ice skating is a Life Long Activity that can be practiced at any age especially if you know it since you are very young. Ice skating increases lower body strength by working the hamstring and quadriceps muscles. Ice skating also improves bone density which, when combined with the correct nutritional requirements, is important for growing children.


You'll also build up your abdominal and lower back muscles while keeping your balance on the ice.
Ice skating is a great calorie burner, and depending on your current body weight and effort on the ice, skaters can be as many as 760 calories an hour.


Being in itself an aerobic exercise just like walking, running, and swimming, it offers positive effects for your cardiovascular health.


Mental fitness is also enhanced with ice skating, as it exercises ones mental control during the act. One needs to be very alert and aware during skating. It is a de-stressor and a form of relaxation for many individuals who use it as a means to break free from the stresses of life and work.

Polis City Playground, Latchi Sea Promenade and Playground

Hello everybody,

Polis is a wonderful destination in Cyprus for families with kids. It is far away from the crowded spots. It is old, it is small, it is peaceful, and it is fantastic and because many people think that is so far away … it is pure nature.

I like Polis because the position, you can really feel that is the end of the island there. I like Polis because I can go to see the Bath of Aphrodite…and to walk along the Adonis Nature Trail.
The Goddess of Love used to take her bath in a cool pond near Polis. The place is known as "Baths of Aphrodite" and provides a magnificent view of the Bay of Polis. According to legend, after swimming in the crystal clear waters of the Bay, Aphrodite used to bathe in this pond, surrounded by idyllic landscape with the sweet smelling wild flowers. It is here that she met her beloved Adonis for the first time. Adonis was hunting in the Akamas forest when stopped over the wonderful spring to quench his thirst. He was struck by the sight of the naked goddess bathing in the crystal waters. Aphrodite and Adonis were instantly bewitched by each other's extraordinary beauty. The myth lived on through Middle Ages. Another legendary spot is "Pyrgos (castle) tis Rigainas" which is linked to the love of Rigaina and Digenis, (the Medieval queen of Cyprus and the Byzantine hero), as well as with Aphrodite. The "castle" which is actually a monastery, now ruins, is in the center of Akamas in a majestic clearing, with a giant oak tree and the bubbling spring. Taking the route from Polis towards Latchi Port you can not miss on the right side of the road the most shaded outdoor playground in Cyprus. I really love this place. It was build by people who loved kids. Has a parking place in front of the playground, toilets, tables to eat, lots of shade for the hot Cypriot summers, plenty of space for the kids to run and completely secured. On the playground you can find swings for babies and kids, roundabout, slides, tunnels and climbing areas. So if you plan to visit Polis don’t forget to stop there!
















Leaving this playground, follow the sign towards Aphrodite’s Bath and on the right side you can enter the parking of the restaurant La Plage. It is a wonderful restaurant on the beach with a very nice shaded area. Next to it, there is another very big playground with green grass facing the sea. Again you can find here slides, swings, roundabout and climbing area. But the most important is the beach location. If it is winter you could simply enjoy a beautiful walk on the new promenade, by the sea, going up to the Latchi port. If it is summer just relax in the sun and let your kids playing and swimming... and choose to walk in the evenings...

















The port is completely renovated and there are so many new restaurants ready to welcome everybody.






Go to Polis because there are new playgrounds, new restaurants, new promenade by the sea, Adonis Trail and Baths of Aphrodite and plenty of Lizards!!!!!
