Limassol Dancing Center – In love of dancing

Hello everybody,

There is nothing more beautiful for a parent then looking at his kids to see their happy little faces. Smiles... giggles, laughs, concentration, efforts trying to learn, to understand what the adults are telling them to do. The happiness when they succeed, … the moments when you know, they wished they could do better. All these moments, I could surprise them at the "Limassol Dancing Center", the place where Mrs. Haria Ioannidou Petrou is teaching one of the most beautiful art: ballet. Three years old little girls, brought in by their mothers will not know for sure what it is all about, but from start they will enjoy the pink tutu dress, the shoes, the music, the dance movements... the big ballet hall surrounded by mirrors and the tall, beautiful and always smiling ballerina teacher.

Haria will know how to talk to them, how to show them the moves, how to love their time spent at the ballet lessons and there will be no barrier for learning how to dance gracefully, surrounded by most beautiful music. Although it is not only about “Pink”, it is also about exercise, concentration and work, the Ballet requires lots of efforts and practice.

Ballet promotes physical strength and agility, can boost concentration, develops an understanding of music and rhythm and generates a love of movement. Ballet also improves muscular strength, flexibility and range of motion. Ballet training also boosts coordination and balance while correcting poor alignment, combinations that involve jumping and leaping increase heart rate, which can improve endurance, stamina and overall cardiovascular health. In addition to its physical benefits, ballet can also help to improve children's mental and emotional health, The Brighton Ballet Theater website asserts that training in classical ballet instills a sense of pride and accomplishment, which can boost self-esteem. As children improve and master more challenging movement combinations, they feel more self-assured, which can carry over into other areas of their lives. Dance training can also be a great way to relax and use excess energy productively after school.

Limassol Dancing Center offers a wonderful environment for the children ready to start learning to dance: from a perfect location, easy to reach, in the heart of Limassol town, to a magnificent big ballet hall with large windows, dressing room and nice waiting room. Here children and adults alike can start learning and practice a variety of dance lessons from Jazz, Modern Dance, Hip Hop, Belly Dance, Greek Dance but also Zumba lessons - the ultimate choice for losing weight and look fabulous.

At Limassol Dancing Center Mrs. Haria will make progress to be visible day by day. Children will be more then happy coming back, meeting the others, listen to the teacher and practice with pleasure every movement. Haria is blessed with all the qualities a teacher may require, from soft tone of voice, passion for her work and most of all love for her little students. This makes every lesson to be special, entertaining and lovable to join for every little ballerina.

Lots of sunny days from Izzy the Cypriot lizard!
